No Heat In The Attic(2008)
Solo saxophone. I didn't want to do a bunch of projects this year, but also didn't want to miss a year, so I just used this for some ideas for songs I want to develop. Usually when I come up with an idea, I'm driving, and I can't sing worth a damn, so a recorder would not help. So, this is a way of forcing myself to "write." I think I've got about 5 ideas to develop. Most of the rest we'll call "research."
Inside Tracks(2010)
RPM 2010. Ten original tracks for Jazz quartet and quintet. As a local player, my reputation has developed as being an avant garde, or 'outside' player. I wanted to do an album of more traditional or 'inside' tunes. This seemed like a perfect opportunity.
